Approved Contractor Accreditation
Increasingly, large private sector organisations, Housing Associations, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities etc are restricting the opportunity to tender for the provision of services or contract work to businesses who are members of an accredited contractor scheme such as CHAS, Constructionline etc. that are affiliated to Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP).
Organisations that are not accredited may struggle to gain a foothold in the tender process or may have to spend significant time completing health and safety pre contract questionnaires before even putting a tender or proposal together. With extensive experience not only in assisting companies to complete accredited contractor / SSIP applications but in vetting submissions to join such schemes SAFETY ADVICE SCOTLAND is uniquely placed to assist your organisation with the application process. If your organisation would like to join an accredited contractor / SSIP scheme such as CHAS, Safecontractor, Constructionline etc., then we can assist, not only with the application process, but in ensuring your current arrangements, procedures and documentation are robust enough to meet the stringent requirements of such schemes. Alternatively if you need assistance completing a 'one off' health and safety questionnaire for a specific project or service provision, the advice and assistance SAFETY ADVICE SCOTLAND can provide will be invaluable in ensuring that you get it right 'first time'.
