Fire Risk Assesments
One of the most basic requirements of fire safety legislation is that 'Duty Holders' (generally employers and / or building owners or occupiers) must ensure that a 'suitable and sufficient' fire safety risk assessment is carried out for their workplace.
With experience in undertaking fire risk assessments in a variety of premises and workplaces including Care Homes, Schools, Offices, Engineering Workshops, Day Centres etc., SAFETY ADVICE SCOTLAND have the knowledge, expertise and competence to ensure your organisation meets its legislative duty in relation to this specific aspect of fire safety legislation. We will provide a concise and 'straightforward' fire risk assessment that will not only be 'suitable and sufficient' but, more importantly, will provide 'simple to understand' information on the strengths and weaknesses in your fire safety management arrangements. The assessment will include details of the issues that need to be addressed in the form of a bespoke action plan that will prioritise these issues and include advice and guidance on how they can be addressed. SAFETY ADVICE SCOTLAND can also provide additional 'fire safety' related services such as:
We can offer these services on an 'individual' basis or, for a more cost effective approach, as part of an overall 'fire safety package' for your organisation.
